✦ FOR BAKERIES, FOOD MAKERS & SMALL MANUFACTURERS

Know what every batch really costs.

Recipes, ingredients, best-before dates and sales in one system — so you stop guessing margins and running out mid-bake.

Sound familiar?

Built for making, not just selling

Syncendio treats a finished product as something you make from ingredients — and carries the cost of those ingredients all the way through to what you sell it for.

Recipes (bills of materials)
List the ingredients and quantities for each product, including yields — one mix that makes twelve. Building a batch takes the ingredients out of stock and puts the finished goods in.
Real cost per unit
Each build is costed from what the ingredients actually cost you, including freight and duty when you add landed cost. Margins stop being a guess.
Batches and best-before dates
Record the batch and expiry when goods arrive. Pick the batch that expires soonest first, and move lots between locations with their dates intact.
Reorders that read your recipes
Reorder suggestions work out what you need to make, then what ingredients those builds need — so you order flour before you run out, not after.
Sell everywhere, count once
A till with shifts for the counter, a B2B portal for cafés and shops ordering wholesale, and Shopify for online — all drawing on the same stock.
Books that add up
Double-entry accounts underneath every sale, purchase and build, with QuickBooks or Xero if your accountant prefers.

Which plan fits

One kitchen: Starter — $49 a month

Starter covers one location and two users, and includes recipes, builds and costing: assembly and bills of materials are on every plan, as are batch tracking and the warehouse scanner.

Growing into wholesale or more sites? Growth ($169) adds the B2B portal, Smart Capture and unlimited locations; Pro ($299) adds commission, returns, approvals and the API, with ten users.

Questions

Can a recipe make more than one unit?

Yes. A bill of materials has a yield, so a recipe can make one cake or a tray of twenty-four, and costs are divided accordingly.

Can I include labour and overheads in the cost?

Yes. Add labour or overhead as a service line on the recipe with its cost, and it is included in the finished product’s cost without affecting stock.

Do I have to use batches?

No. Batch and expiry tracking is set per product, so you can track it for perishables and leave it off for packaging.

Is there a limit on orders?

No. Every plan has unlimited orders and there is no per-sale charge. Plans are sized by users, locations and database space, so a good month never costs you more.

Can I keep my accountant in QuickBooks or Xero?

Yes. Connect QuickBooks or Xero, map the accounts once, and approved sales invoices and supplier bills are sent across — and payments recorded there against those invoices come back. Syncendio also keeps full double-entry books of its own if you would rather not use a second package.

Can my bookkeeper or accountant log in?

Yes. Invite them as an advisor from Settings → Partners. They get the access you choose, and an advisor seat does not count towards your plan’s users.
