How you earn

What you earn depends on the kind of partner you are. It is set on your partner account and shown in your partner portal.

PartnerCommissionHow long
Bookkeepers, accountants and consultants 10% of the client’s plan fee Every month, for as long as the client is active and you remain their advisor. Your seat in their workspace is free and never appears on their invoice
Resellers 20% of one month’s plan fee Once per client, on their first payment. The same amount whether they pay monthly or yearly

What that looks like on the Growth plan ($169 a month)

PartnerClient pays monthlyClient pays yearly ($1,825.20)
Bookkeeper, accountant, consultant$16.90 a month · $202.80 a year$16.90 a month while advising
Reseller$33.80 once$365.04 once
  • Commission follows the money. It is earned when the client’s invoice is paid, and reversed if that payment is refunded.
  • Commission is on the plan fee — not on extra users, extra database space or taxes.
  • One partner per client. The first partner a client adds as an advisor is credited with that client, and a client cannot be referred twice.
  • For advisors, the monthly commission stops if the client removes you as their advisor. The change is recorded, and you can see it in your portal.

Getting credited for a client

  1. Your client starts their Syncendio workspace (free 14-day trial).
  2. In Settings → Partners, they invite you by the email address on your partner account and choose what you can access.
  3. You accept the invitation from the email. From then on the client appears in your partner portal.

Your advisor seat does not count towards the client’s plan users, so adding you never costs them a seat.

Who Syncendio suits

A client is a good fit if they can answer yes to two or more of these:

  • Do they buy stock from suppliers and sell it on — online, in a shop, or to trade customers?
  • Do they make products from ingredients or components (recipes, kits, assemblies)?
  • Is stock tracked in spreadsheets, or does the count in their shop or Shopify go wrong?
  • Do they sell in more than one place — a counter, Shopify, wholesale — and count stock separately for each?
  • Does someone re-key sales and purchase invoices into the accounts?

Less suited: pure service businesses with no stock, and very large operations that need a full ERP with custom development.

The 30-second pitch

“Syncendio runs your stock, purchasing, sales and accounts in one place. Orders from your shop, Shopify or trade customers all draw on the same stock, so you stop overselling and stop re-keying. If you make products, it costs every batch from what the ingredients actually cost you. And it’s priced by users and data, never by how much you sell — a busy month doesn’t cost you more.”

Questions clients ask

“We already use QuickBooks / Xero.”

Keep it. Syncendio connects to QuickBooks and Xero and sends approved invoices and bills across, so the accountant keeps working where they are while stock and orders are run properly.

“We’re on Shopify — isn’t that enough?”

Shopify runs the storefront. Syncendio runs what’s behind it: purchasing from suppliers, receiving, true costs, reordering and the books. Shopify orders are pulled into Syncendio and available stock is published back.

“It’ll get expensive as we grow.”

There is no charge per order and no percentage of sales. Plans are sized by users, locations and data, so selling more doesn’t raise the bill.

“Moving systems is a lot of work.”

The free trial lets them set up alongside what they use now. Opening stock and balances are entered once, Shopify products can be imported, and you can help as their advisor inside the workspace.

“We make our own products.”

That’s where Syncendio is strongest: recipes with yields, builds that take ingredients out and put finished goods in, and costs carried through — including labour and overheads if they add them.

1 · Introducing Syncendio to a client
Subject: A better way to run your stock and orders

Hi [Name],

You mentioned [stock counts going wrong / re-keying invoices / not knowing your true margins]. I've been looking at a system called Syncendio that I think would help.

It keeps stock, purchasing, sales and the accounts in one place, so orders from [your shop / Shopify / trade customers] all come off the same stock and nothing has to be typed in twice. [If you make products: it also costs each batch from what the ingredients actually cost.]

It's priced by users and data rather than by sales, starts at $49 a month, and there's a free 14-day trial with no card needed. This page explains it for businesses like yours: [link to makers / wholesalers / Shopify sellers page]

If you'd like, I can help you set it up — happy to walk through it together.

Subject: Re: A better way to run your stock and orders

Hi [Name],

Just following up on Syncendio. If you start the free trial, add me as your advisor in Settings → Partners using [your partner email] and I can help set up your products and opening stock — it doesn't use one of your plan's user seats.

Would [day] work for a 20-minute look together?

3 · Reseller outreach to a new business
Subject: Stock, orders and accounts in one place for [Business]

Hi [Name],

I work with [bakeries / wholesalers / Shopify stores] on the systems behind the business. Most of them were juggling spreadsheets for stock, re-keying invoices, and overselling now and then.

Syncendio fixes that: one system for stock, purchasing, sales and the books, connected to [Shopify / QuickBooks / Xero]. There's no charge per order, plans start at $49 a month, and paying yearly gets two months free.

I can set it up with you and have you running within the free 14-day trial. Worth a quick call?
